U.S. Congress Handbook Acquisition
The Sunwater Institute acquired the U.S. Congress Handbook along with the U.S. Congress Online and Lobbyists.info database subscriptions from Columbia Books and Information Services (CBIS) in late 2022. The consolidation of data from the iconic US Congress Handbook, Washington Representatives, and the digital subscriptions coupled with innovation from The Sunwater Institute has led to a new era in congressional, lobbying, and legislative information – Legis1.
The current 2023 edition of the U.S. Congress Handbook (118th Congress, First Session) was released in May 2023. The Sunwater Institute, who acquired the U.S. Congress Handbook in late 2022, will be releasing the 2024 edition (118th Congress, Second Session) of The U.S. Congress Handbook in May 2024.
